Thanksgiving day is a perfect example of a symbol that can relate to us all, regardless of religion, faith or place of residence. I think this holiday is unique because it has remained modest, less consumerized, and provides the perfect opportunity to thank and cherish the people around us.
This year, I want to tell you what I am thankful for – First and foremost, I am thankful to have a wonderful family, my wife and five kids. They are those who give me the support and inspiration I need.
Second, I am thankful for having the chance to lead Appnext, with all its dedicated employees. Appnext grew significantly, both in business and in staff, over the last year and a half, becoming a truly global company. I cannot tell you how thankful and inspired I felt when we just recently had a full week of All Hands meetings and activities with all of our 130+ employees, from seven offices around the globe. The feeling of seeing something you are responsible for, growing from scratch to such a big operation, seeing everybody work together, for the same goal, is an uplifting one. I see a great future for us and for the mobile industry as a whole and I am thankful to live in these fascinating times and to be able to contribute to this rapid and evolving industry.
Last but not least, I want to thank all of our clients and partners, those who have just embarked on a journey with us and those who walk a long path with Appnext. I want to thank you for your loyalty, your patience, and trust. We have exciting things for you down the road and we are thankful for the opportunity to share them with you.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
